Race Description
The 5th annual JC Triathlon: The Great Escape is a well-organized, but relaxed event for first time triathletes with courses challenging for all levels of competitors. This year additional opportunities have been added to our classic 400-meter pool swim, 12-mile bike and 3.2mile Sprint Triathlon. We still have a Duathlon for bikers and runners and a 2 or 3-person Team Relay. There are 2 new events this year: A Super Sprint event consisting of a 200-meter pool swim, 5.3-mile bike and 1.8-mile run. For those that want to do more we are offering a “Double”. Do the Super Sprint first followed by the Sprint. In addition to new events we are offering a Team Award for organized groups of athletes.
