Jefferson City Triathlon, Duathlon & Team Relay: The Great Escape

This 3rd year event with Chip Timing by Ultramax Sports is sponsored by JC Outdoors, JC Area YMCA and JC Parks and Recreation. Events include a Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon and Team Relay. The Sprint Triathlon consists of a 400 meter pool swim, 12 mile bike and 3.2 mile run. Duathlon, 12 mile bike and 3.2 mile run. Relay team, a 2 or 3 person team completes one or more legs of the Sprint Triathlon. Events will start and finish in the area of the pool at Ellis-Porter Riverside Park. Site will be accessible at 5:30 a.m. with on-site registration, body marking and transition area placement. Pool swim warm-up starts at 6:20 a.m. See website for age divisions, awards and registration costs. Proceeds benefit JC Parks and Recreation and JC Area YMCA swimming scholarship programs.
