Race Description
The 7th annual Great Escape Triathlon takes place on Sunday, June 11, 2023, with a 7 a.m. race start. This is a well-organized, but relaxed, event for first time triathletes ages 13 and up. Events include the classic 400-meter pool swim, 12-mile bike and 3.2mile Sprint Triathlon. Don’t like the water? We also have a Duathlon for bikers and runners or team up to do our 2 or 3-person Team Relay. For those wanting a mini version of the sprint, we have the Super Sprint consisting of a 200-meter pool swim, 5.3-mile bike and 1.8-mile run.
